Personal Nutrition Advice
Whatever your motivation, losing weight can feel like an uphill struggle, and sometimes you just need some support. I offer personal nutrition advice either on its own, or as part of a personal training package, and have been providing clients with one-to-one nutrition advice since February 2006.
Before we begin, I recommend a no-obligation introductory session* where we can discuss your goals, and take initial metrics which we will use to track your progress. I will give you food and activity diaries to complete and email or post to me a couple of days a week. I will analyse these forms in detail, establishing your resting metabolic rate, the amount of energy used and consumed on those days, and the balance of nutrients in your diet.
Then, each week, we will meet* for an hour at your choice of location, when I will provide you with your full nutritional analysis, and recommend improvements that can be made to optimise weight loss. In addition to this, every four weeks we will re-take your metrics to track your progress. You will also be able to email me or call me with any queries during the week, e.g. if you are going shopping or out for a meal and would like advice on the best options. I can also advise you how to increase your metabolism through resistance exercise, and increase caloric deficit through increased activity, and how this will affect your weight loss and nutritional needs.
